"We wanted to translate the key fall trends in a way that was both stylish and wearable," stated Christina Pérez, fashion development editor at Glamour, to WWD.
"We worked with a variety of shapes, materials and colors to ensure that there was something chic for everyone- no matter their style personality."
The collection "was designed to dress a woman for all the 'key moments' in her life," as WWD reported.
Tracey Lomrantz Lester, Gilt's senior editorial director, provided some insight to WWD on why the retailer went with Glamour for this partnership.

"As a former Glamour editor myself, I knew the magazine's on-the-pulse sense of what's major each season would really resonate with Gilt shoppers."The collaboration appears to have all your fashion shoe needs covered with various styles and price points.
The collection ranges from a Babsie d'Orsay Flat for $89 to a Ely Angle Strap Snake Embossed Pump for $99 to a Haydee Calf Hair & Leather Oxford for $99 to an Ellie Calf Hair Lace-Up Bootie for $129.
"Wear what you like- and own it. Convection is the best accessory," Pérez comments on Gilt.
On Gilt, other industry experts offered some styling tips.
"The key to great style: Never let the trend wear you," commented Rajni Jacques, fashion news editor of Glamour.
Brooke Ely Danielson, associate accessories editor of Glamour, had the following to say, "Stay true to yourself and follow your gut. If the outfit makes you feel confident, then that's the best style."
The women's footwear capsule collection is currently available via Gilt.
