Angelina Jolie Shoes Inspired the Disney Film

Legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin has launched an exclusive made-to-measure range of shoes that he designed with Angelina Jolie for her Maleficent promotional tour.
The patent court-like shoes, which are handmade at Louboutin's Paris atelier, have mesh panels, sculpted heels that looks like tendrils of smoke and of course, the French designer's iconic red sole.
The shoes have been made in black, white and gold and were all worn by the 39-year-old actress during the promotional tour. However, the styles available to order will be black and red patent leather only.
Called Malangeli, the shoes were inspired by Jolie's character in the Disney film and will be sold on a pre-order basis only. Her character is a twisted version of a classic villain called Mistress of All Evil - a fairy who wears black head-to-toe in a magical world.
A Louboutin spokesperson describes the limited-edition shoe design as "dangerous and altogether seductive" with "an illusion of magic" thanks to the nude mesh.
On the collaboration Louboutin said: “It is exciting to work with someone who has such a strong aesthetic and character. Getting to know Angelina through a fun collaboration has been one of my greatest pleasures!”
Profits from the sales will benefit SOS Children’s Villages, the charity dedicated to orphaned and abandoned children, which is close to Jolie’s heart.
The shoes will be available to pre-order from four boutiques worldwide and those ordered from London will cost £950.
